Hello all,
I just closed on a newly remodeled home in Chicago. The home when it was remodeled they pulled out all telcom wiring out of the house both outside and inside. I know if I just directly order with att they will instal it for me but I'm not interested in running the cable drops around trim or having the cable be exposed.
I've contacted an electrician for a quote, but I'm not too familiar with the best setup. I know I want a distribution center and I know cat6 is best cable in the industry. Essentially I want to have the ideal setup for uverse cable, Internet, and home phone and want coax plus cat6 plus phone lines.
My only ask is that other rooms in the house can hardwire in to Ethernet for Internet connection.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
