Coming back to Uverse - Getting "Power"

Used to have 18 & 24 Mbps service, now I am reconnecting the service on 4/18/15. In order to avoid the $7 equipment fee, I was trying to reconnect the gateway that I still have, the 2wire 3600HGV; however, I don't know if that gateway is compatible with the "Power" tier (45/6). I previously used the gateway in bridged mode. Additionally, I will be getting the U-Family TV package for 1 TV. I have the following questions: a) Will the 2wire 3600 HGV work with Power + U-family? b) Will I need something like the Motorola/Arris NVG589 (I would have to buy it pretty quickly if needed) instead? Is that the best router? I like that it is gigabit, unlike the 3600HGV. c) If I bridge the Motorola/Arris NVG589, can I use the additional ethernet ports in the back of the unit or they will be locked like the ones on my bridged Bright House modem? d) Will the technician provide a receiver for the TV? Or that is something that I need to provide in order to avoid the $7 fee? The service I ordered is SD no DVR. I don't have a receiver, since I never had TV service with Uverse before. Your help is appreciated.
