As someone who's recently cut the cord to TV and phone service, I was exploring options again. I looked at ATT Uverse last year and had some installation issues and ended up canceling the order. I considered it again and find that ATT is still including the 250 GB data cap verbage in their contracts. I understand this current data usage is not enforced, but it's absurd to me that it's even considered for a home internet connection.
As someone who cuts the cord, I use my internet connection quite often. My wife and I stream a ton of shows, we also use Plex which allows us to watch our media collection inside and outside our home. I use our connection for various other things. It's bad enough we deal with limited data plans for our mobile use, but to have this also for our home use is absurd.
This post is to simply voice my displeasure and let AT&T know this is the ONLY reason I haven't made the switch from Brighthouse to AT&T for my home internet service needs. It's very disappointing.
