Hey guys, hopefully I can explain this well here. So, we built a house on 3 acres of country property about five years ago. For the past two weeks I've been trying to get uverse, but they keep telling me it isn't available at our house. The power poll that's associated with our address has uverse, and there's a power poll 50 ft away from our house that has uverse. The power poll that's 50 ft away is associated with a different street name, and that's the poll where we get power. The poll associated with our street has all the wires running underground, but we never ran the wires from that poll to our house, which is why I think uverse says it isn't available at our house. The poll we get power from isn't associated with our address because its on a different street, but it does have uverse, and I've tried explaining this to uverse but they haven't been able to resolve it. I went in the store after dealing with support and getting nowhere and I attempted a manual order. The guy came back out after being in the back for a bit and told me that internet is available at our place and that he would be in contact within 48 hours. A little bit less than that later, I get a call from an art rep saying that she escalated my issue to some department that researches this sort of thing and said no go. Basically, I'm 99% sure that if a tech came out and looked at it, he could hook it up,and that the reason we can't get it is misinformation on at&ts end, but I can't get them to just send out a tech and look. Any suggestions of things I could try? I've been thinking about ordering service to my neighbors house and just waiting in the cul de sac for the tech so I could point him in our direction.
