When I try to play a song preview in the iTunes store, it takes several seconds to start and then re-buffers every few seconds. This happens with identical behavior on my iMac, iPhone 6, iPad, and AppleTV, all with the latest software updates, all on an AirPort Extreme network.
I have Uverse 24Mbit Internet in Chicago - every other type of traffic on each device seems to be at full speed (no lag), including Podcast downloads and speedtest.net, for example. If I turn WiFi off on my iPhone and try iTunes previews over LTE, it works instantly. If I connect to my iPhone sharing a hotspot with my iMac, it works instantly. I have plugged my iMac directly into the Uverse modem - same problem. I actually have a 2nd Uverse modem - same problem. It seems like this is an intermittent problem that has been occurring over the last few days - I first noticed it while trying to play music on my AppleTV - where it streams directly from iTunes. I've also noticed that loading apple.com web pages is really slow, where every other web site is really fast.
