Uverse wireless receiver rebooting since adding a chromecast?

I have a wireless receiver on my HDTV (a remote receiver, not the main box) that has been rebooting a lot since hooking up a chromecast to the same tv as the box. Nothing else on my Uverse system seems to be affected, and the problem goes away when the chromecast is disconnected. Is the chromecast not u-verse friendly? -- Illinois: where the governors make the license plates!
