UVerse 45MB & Motorola NVG589 - DHCP Madness

Hi all, I was recently upgraded to a 45MB tier (which took three days and a lot of hardware replacement). After installation, my entire network was working fine, and my two other access points synced with the new Motorola modem without a problem. For remote working, my workplace requires a 192.168.254.* to access their Intranet via VPN (versus the 192.168.1.* the Motorola starts with by default). So here's the sequence of events: 1. Network is fine. 2. Log into the admin section of the Motorola modem. 3. Change the DHCP to allocate addresses from 192.168.254.64-253 (instead of 192.168.1.64-253. 4. Motorola modem saves changes. 5. Modem can only see immediate network plugged into it via Ethernet. The rest of the network is dark. Now, I'm assuming that the IP leases on the other devices were assigned by the Motorola modem previously conflict with it's current DHCP allocation. If that is the case, what would be the proper course of action? I tried scanning the network for devices via the Modem, but nothing comes up. Thanks in advance for the replies. I'm pretty sure this is a simple fix, but I'd rather ask before going through a trial/error scenario.
