When I found that the NVG589 I'm using doesn't allow you to define a specific DNS server for the entire home, I went and configured my main work computer to use Google Public DNS (both ipv4 and v6). As far as I knew it was working right - DNS lookups improved radically, so I didn't think anything was amiss.
Tonight I went to run the program Namebench to look into my DNS situation, and the program threw an error. it said this:
"Your router or Internet Service Provider appears to be intercepting and redirecting all outgoing DNS requests. This means you cannot benchmark or utilize alternate DNS servers. Please adjust your router configuration or file a support request with your ISP."
Any ideas why it is telling me this? Is this my problem or AT&T's?
