I hope this question isn't inappropriate. I was wondering about the control of STBs by network like the u-verse app does, specifically if anyone has reverse engineered it. I'd like to use it instead of an IR blaster.
Funny thing is that I was messing around with Smart Remote and it picked up my STBs as VLC clients but password protected.
