We have had U-Verse since Jan. 2014. We were the first house in the neighborhood to get it, they ran new cables to our house.
We have experienced such slow speeds lately, we reactivated our Comcast HSI. We have no plans to disconnect our U-Verse TV as we really enjoy it but our internet speeds routinely drop below 5mbps at night time. We are paying for 18mbps.
Given that I am bedridden and I am a gamer, this is a major problem. Streaming doesn't work at all at such low speeds.
When I call, they say they change channels/frequencies and the speed restores for a few minutes before dropping back down. During the day I am getting anywhere from 10-15mbps.
A tech came out two days ago and point blank said to get Comcast. So I did but was hoping you may have a magic answer. Given my health situation I obviously don't want a hassle and I'll just ride out the contract through to Jan. 2015 and just drop the U-Verse internet if it can't be fixed.
