I currently have Uverse Internet and Phone. I'm on a bonded pair (pair 1 Max Downstream 36884kpbs, pair 2 Max Downstream 32320kpbs) and I'm currently on the 25M profile using the Motorola NVG589 gateway. When the tech installed my service he said I should have no problem getting the TV service and didn't understand why they wouldn't let me order it when I ordered the internet and phone.
When I call Att Uverse Costumer line to try and order TV service they are of no help because in the computer it says I can't get TV service. But why?
If I'm already on the 25M profile (and should be able to bump up to the 36M profile) I should be able to get TV service right? Are there other factors involved besides just the downstream rate my line can sync at that I might not be aware of?
The last house we lived in had Uverse TV service. It was a single pair (non-bonded) and I was on the 25M profile and had TV service. My understanding about the service was I needed 25M profile to get 3HD, 36M profile to get 4HD. I assume the rules are nearly the same today.
Thanks to anyone who can help or explain to my why I can't get service.
