So the news broke last week that DSLX is now reselling U-Verse Internet (see some early threads from interested customers http://www.dslreports.com/forum/dslextreme). Good for them =)
I find the timing, shall we say, interesting...The FCC exploring competitive, neutrality, and potential reclassification issues; all sorts of criticism of the common monopoly/duopoly broadband structure; and AT&T attempting to gain approval of a purchase of DirecTV.
Is this a ploy to help get regulator approval, so AT&T can now claim it is allowing competitive access to the U-Verse network? Maybe this has been in the works for a long time, and the finalization simply occurred at the same time coincidentally.
Just wondering out loud...
