I'm running a Negear R7000 behind the NVG589 with a static IP address. The wifi on the NVG589 is off, and I'm running everything through my R7000.
I thought the R7000 was supposed to be one of the fastest routers, but I'm seeing the following after my upgrade from 300/300 to 1000/1000.
Speedtest.net directly into my R7000.
269 down / 428 up
Speedtest.net directly into the NVG589
926 down / 642 up
These tests were within a minute of each other. Is the R7000 just a crappy router despite all the rave reviews?
