Hi I have a Netgear N600 wireless router ASDL which I used to use with ATT DSL. Since I upgraded to Uverse DSL I can no longer use the Netgear router with the Uverse service. But I would like to use the router as a standalone wireless router. I ran a powerline adapter to the area where I want to use the Netgear router. The connection is good because I did a hard wire test with a notebook and it connects to the net. However, when I connect the Netgear router to the powerline adapter I get not connection. In wireless mode the notebook can see the Netgear router but it cannot connect to the net. I think the ASDL router is still looking for the DSL connection because there is a red light indication that. Is there a way to disable the modem part of the Netgear router? Thanks Joe
