This evening I have one of those scenarios with a total loss of U-Verse service (IPTV, VoIP, broadband). While I have synch to the VRAD, I am fairly certain** that the fiber to my VRAD has been cut by a contractor.*
Why is the stored content on my DVR offline? Is there some form of authentication request that has to travel beyond the VRAD before DVR content can be played?
* A conduit contractor has been boring along several miles where my AT&T fiber is routed.
** 20:07 I just drove by a fiber splice trailer and lots of AT&T techs.
