It's coming I know, the mandatory switch to U-Verse in my area. I've been hanging on to traditional DSL for years. I'm currently on the 3.0 Mbit DSL Xtreme package with a Westell modem. I have attached my line stats currently. You'll see they aren't perfect (interleaved!).
I do have a home run, got a phone line from the NID straight to my modem.
I did try to upgrade to the 6.0 Mbit DSL package, but it just wouldn't hold sync. Lots of reboots. At 3.0, sync holds.
My question is, I'd like to upgrade to U-Verse, drop my home phone, and get at least a 6.0 Mbit internet speed. U-Verse TV isn't available here, so I'd assume the technology is the ADSL2+ stuff.
Any advice? If I can't get at least 6.0 U-Verse to hold, I'm not switching until I have no choice.
