Finally badgered into swapping DSL 6mbps+POTS for Uverse Internet+VOIP.
I don't qualify for Uverse TV, so I'll be getting ADSL2, right?
We're a small, podunk town, so should I beware if the technician tries to install an older, more trouble prone gateway? Should I request/demand a newer model? I'm still learning, but it sounds like the Motorola NVG510 is the latest one, right?
Anything else I should be aware of? Should I try to sweet talk him into an ethernet run to my gateway, maybe with a BBQ plate, or cold drinks???
Should I make sure he prints out the stats and verifies that certain stats are above/below any thresholds? Let me know which ones to focus on!
Thanks for any advice you can give.
