I am submitting this topic for a friend of mine who is at wits end with Uverse VOIP.
Here is his issue:
He purchased internet and voip about 4 weeks ago. His internet is working great and he can call out on his voip. How ever, no one can call his number as it will not ring at his number. It rings somewhere but not at his number.
The tech has been to his house and could not find any issues with the wiring or the line in.
My friend has been in contact with customer support and has been getting the run around. He would like to talk to a higher level of support besides the people that are off shore. He has asked to talk to supervisors and has still been getting the run around.
Is it possible to talk to tech support in the USA so this issue can get resolved?
He would like to get this resolved as he is about ready to yank ATT out of his house and go with cable. Four weeks of a semi functioning service is not good PR for ATT.
