For the last week, when selecting play on a DVR recording I would get just a black screen with no audio if I go back and try it a second time the recording would play ok. I called tech support and all their troubleshooting could not resolve the problem. They dispatched a tech he checked my ISB 7500 and saw the black screen so he swapped it out with a new IPH 8005 it seemed at first though that he thought maybe I had done something to use as an excuse to get a new DVR. Tonight I heard back from the tech and they all have been getting repair calls all day for customers with the ISB 7500 all with the same black screen issue so they have been swapping out ISB 7500's all day with the new IPH 8005 and no one yet knows what is causing this issue.
