As far as I'm aware, the Pace 5168NV is intended to be used for ADSL2+ installations with the intention of it supporting bonded pairs to increase distance and/or bandwidth.
However, if it's going to be used for ADSL2+ implementations, why does it have a coax interface? ADSL2+ doesn't offer TV (at least it doesn't currently) and you can't use coax for a bonded pair (I guess one could use Twinax for a bonded pair, but none of the gateways have the right connector for that)
