Well now im at my wits end with uverse. Let me explain
I called tueday and they found a problem with my line and said a tech would arrive wednesday between 4-8. Had problems with my tv studdering, skipping and cutting out during dvr playback and live tv on all my STB's for the past 3 weeks. I called tuesday and they found a problem with my line and said a tech would arrive wednesday. On Wednesday at 745 i call uverse and find my appointment was cancelled. They said ticket was cancelled due to the outage that plagued att this past week.
My issue was going on prior to the outage, they apologized and said a tech would show up thursday between 4-8. Keep in mind I already left work early and lost pay to be home wednesday.
Thursday rolls and the tech calls at 330 saying he would be coming in 45 minutes at 415. I told him i was at work until 430 but to take his time and check the wiring outside, he said sure, no problem we'll see you then.
4:35 i roll in my driveway and i got a text that my appointment was cancelled. Called uverse and they said tech was at house for 30 minutes waiting for me and i never showed up, so he left.
However, I have a 12 camera cctv system, while on the phone, I played back tall the cameras from 4pm until I got home at 4:35.
Guess what?? No tech, not att truck or van, nor anyone even come to the front door. After hearing this tech tried calling dispatch but said I was out of luck and no one can come to the house, it needs to be rescheduled!
So basically tech lied and said he was at house,got paid by att, and lied to a customer! This is beyond unacceptable.
Now supposedly a tech will be here friday between 4-8 with notes saying ill be home at 445. but im hoping they will show up and fix the issue, otherwise i will be jumping ship!
Is it common for techs to be so deceitful and lie about jobs??
