I have always been able to upgrade my account to the highest speed tier currently available, e.g., when 24 Mbps was in limited release, I was able to upgrade, and the same is true for 45 Mbps was initially offered.
I've read that there are now tiers exceeding 100 Mbps. Is my account eligible for these speeds?
The main reason that I ask is because I know Bellsouth installed fiber optic cabling all the way to the houses in my neighborhood just prior to the merger with SBC (today's AT&T). During the install, a Bellsouth representative came by and explained that we would soon have 100 Mbps and higher speeds (which was followed by a letter), and this was way back in 2007.
Thanks,
Matt
