so the two rooms with the wireless stb have tv stands... the stb sits on the lower shelf of the tv stands (less than a foot high from the ground)
does the concept of having the WAP in a high spot still work in this situation or should the WAP be lower to the ground... everywhere i've looked i see people saying get the WAP high (which i never understood because most wireless stb aren't usually on a tv stand up in the air)
same question for the nvg589... why put it up in the air when most wireless devices are at desktop level or at highest chest level?
dumb questions but i could use clarification
the only thing i can think of is because if the rg/wap is/are lower they would have to go through more obstacles vs being higher and passing over the obstacles?
