My residence was hooked up for Uverse back in mid-2011. At that time, I think 18Mbps down was the fastest internet we qualified for.
Last week, I changed modems (from 2Wire 3800HG-V) to the Pace 5031NV. I'd like to know if the following stats are good enough to get re-qualified for 24/5 internet:
Modem Type Built in modem - ADSL/VDSL
DSL Line Line 1 (inner pair)
User Rate 25311 kbs 2036 kbs
Max User Rate 41372 kbs 2036 kbs
Noise Margin 15.1 dB 0.0 dB
Attenuation 23.5 dB 0.0 dB
Output Power 13.5 dBm 7.8 dBm
Protocol G.993.2_8d
Channel Interleaved
DSLAM Vendor Information Country {65461} Vendor {CXSY} Specific {852 }
Rate Cap 40627 kbs
Attenuation @ 300kHz13.4 dB
VCXO Frequency Offset-16.8 ppm Ok
Excessive Impulse Noise 0 Ok
...
Note, some of the upstream statistics look wrong (noise margin, attenuation, max user rate.)
