Hello I've asked this over in the Wireless Networking but before making a purchase I thought I would ask and check here if aa certain setup, make, model, settings are required. Have a Model 3801HGV Router/Hub in the main part of the house Have in the Rec Room about 656ft away a Netgear 8-Port Switch "wired" I can get wireless fine in the main section but the Rec Room is problem. There are two wall, the kitchen and a solid block wall between it and the Hub/Router. I simply want to get a normal wireless signal in the Rec Room (basically a former two car garage). It seems that I just need a simple non-expensive Access Point and just plug it in the back of the Netgear Switch(?) A...is this about right and if so is there a particular decent one(s) to look at? It's been suggested to look at this one.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XXMUCQ /ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=02H1J58FZP5Y9RJNHCEM&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846 ...or this one.... http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WA801ND-Wireless-300Mbps-Repeater/dp/B004UBU8IE/ref=pd_sim_pc_15 In terms of setting this up what needs to be done....settings? Thanks for any help and or suggestions.
