I just bought an NVG589 off eBay and can't get sync on it. I've got a good idea why, as when I go to the management interface at 192.168.1.254 I see a Frontier logo and Frontier firmware version. Externally the modem says AT&T and U-verse. The seller seems to think that I can just reflash it. I tend to think it's effectively a brick as AT&T only pushes firmware updates and I'm unable to sync. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can restore the AT&T firmware?
