I live in SC (Part of Charlotte, NC Market) and subscribe to the 45/6 Power Tier recently in the evenings, my service slows dramatically, to the point some websites like Google do not even load. I am confident it is nothing to do with my computer or my RG or my line. I have called tech support and confirmed my line is fine, but they do not know what causes the slowness, I have heard from a tech the other day, that they have had a few repair tickets for other customers in the area over the last week. The tech also told me they have had a lot of upgrades to the 45/6 tier and have been very busy with new installs in the area.
I suspect that their is a network congestion issue in the area, but calling tech support to try to troubleshoot something like that is useless. the problem gets worse every night between 9pm and 11pm and than clears again during those hours my speed tests show from 5 to 25Mbps download other times my results are 46Mbps download. Along with the decreased speeds I get timeout errors trying to load websites like google, etc.
I just don't know how to get this resolved?
