First of all, I am a very savvy in computers and networking, so asking here is my FINAL stopping point before calling AT&T support. Second, I've had Uverse for 2 years and this problem just started.
The problem:
Both my TV and Internet connectivity go out between 12:15 am and 12:30 am every night. Looking at my gateway, the Broadband LED is blinking red. Luckily, the "outage" lasts for about 5-10 minutes. Is it normal for the gateway to go out or will I need to call AT&T support to see if it's their end or to get a new gateway?
Also, this just started happening: After powering off the 1225 for 10 minutes, the ON/OFF button begins to blink continuously. Turning it back on results in no image/video to my TV. Only a hard reset (holding power button for >5 seconds) puts it back to normal.
I have a Motorola 1225 and 1200 as my set-top boxes and a 2WIRE 3800HGV-B as my gateway/modem.
Any ideas or helpful tips are appreciated.
