Crazy bonded lines change roles, better connection...

I had a random refresh of the broadband interface, and my line 1 Max Attainable stats dropped by 10k kbps while line 2 stayed the same... For the past few days, line 1 gets FEC errors, I have fixed some of the causes but not isolated everyone of them yet... Assumptions and conclusions: 1.) Seems that line 1 WAS used mainly for internet traffic...and I was maxing at 40Mbps. 2.) Now according to the log below, "conn(2)" interface gets WAN IP. If u look at bottom of log, DSLF_WANIPChgProc 2....always said 1 instead of 2 when line 1 stats were better. 3.) FINALLY, the RG says in plain english, "resolving br2 to more specific upstream device". a.) whats ODD is that my speedtests run up to 47Mbps now, no FEC errors, and better latency (response) from websites and servers. b.) according to the log, I assume now that all internet traffic is routed via line 2 instead of line 1, as previously configured. connh[2763]: conn[2]: Received event BOUND from DHCP client connh[2763]: conn[2] DHCP lease from 206.141.192.125 ip=108.xx.xxx.xxx/255.255.252.0 leasetime=1209600 domain= dns1=68.94.156.1 dns2=68.94.157.1 gw=108.xx.xx.x sdb[332]: conn[2]: interface configured: 108.xx.xxx.xxx mcp[1577]: mcp: resolving br2 to more specific upstream device sdb[332]: radv: enabled mcp[1577]: mcp: soliciting ARP traffic by pinging gateway 108.xx.xxx.x cwmp[1537]: DSLF_WANIPChgProc 2 mcp[1577]: mcp: kernel's mcfwd_upstream_if is 17 (ptm0.0) ***ANYONE HAVE 2 CENTS TO THROW AT THIS?*** -- Hinsdale, IL - http://www.billhamel.net
