So my 1st year introductory price for TV & internet is ending in a week, where I am getting $30 off TV and $13 off internet. I called to renew, and they agreed to continue this promotion for another 6 months. We "discussed" this for a while, and they agreed to continue this promotion for another year instead (so I don't have to call again in 6 months).
So should I have argued harder and/or asked to be transferred to the customer retention department? The uverse promotion for new customers right now is $40 off TV and $18 off internet (with a faster speed tier), so I could potentially have saved $15 a month. Or possibly more???
